I came across this strange video on a website where out of the woods came Jamie Lynn Spears and boyfriend Casey on a raging ATV. It was rumored that Spears was 6 months pregnant at the time of the footage. Apparently, both parents were not that concerned with the 6 month fetus in the mothers womb. This is definitely a blatant disregard for safety, and responsibility in driving and owning an All Terrain Vehicle. There are laws defining the driving of quads on regular roads, and it is expected of ATV owners to practice safety measures while driving a quad bike to protect themselves, the passengers, and other people on the streets.

The issue of how safe or dangerous riding or driving an ATV is still being debated up to this time. Although some people would contend that there are numerous injuries and accidents relating to ATV rides, it is important to point out that most of these accidents are caused by non-compliance of safety measures and recommendations that have been placed.

In the UK and some countries in the world driving an ATV on the public streets is allowed. As long as you are able to meet certain legal requirements then you are free to take your quad in the highways.

At the top of the list you have to comply with the requirements of the road traffic act of 1988 in terms of road tax, insurance, and MOT.

Furthermore, the driver needs to have a full valid UK car driving license. Apparently, driving the ATV on the streets is not considered childs play by the authorities.

The ATV has to be registered with the DVLA. The quad needs to have lights, horn, speedometer, and road mirrors. Road legal tires is also a must to be able to comply with traffic rule requirements.
