    Pests are animals that cause damages to a wild ecosystem or carries microbes within human home grounds. Representatives of these include those organisms which vector human disease, such as rats and fleas which transmit the plague disease, mosquitoes which vector malaria, and ticks which transmit Lyme Disease.

    Pests are one of the problems in gardens, farms, and houses. They eat and destroy the plants. These pests are so irritating to human because they feed on our foods, occupy our houses, transmit diseases, and are parasitic..

    Below are tips on controlling pests in your area:

    1. Outdoor a. Get rid of dead and weak plants from the garden. b. Utilise organic fertilizer and have a compost to help the plants become strong and healthy. c. You can spray insect repellants to the plants for them to resist diseases. d. Clean the garden by getting rid of all rubbles and weeds that will serve as home ground and reproductive places for the insects. e. Insect pests are sometimes plant particular so it will be helpful if you rotate crops and replace plants in an area. f. Disinfect tools after engaging with infested plants before moving to other plants.

    2. Indoor a. Sanitation Observing cleanliness is the best way to keep you from detrimental pests. Cleaning you areas on a regular basis will eliminate all potential areas where pests can breed, feed, and exist. Observe correct garbage disposal, don't throw trash anyplace. Clean your pets and bring them to the veterinarian on a regular basis. b. Elimination Utilise screen doors to prevent flies and mosquitoes from entering your place. You should also see your walls for breaks and gaps where insects can easily conceal and also to keep infestation. Seal and repair any possible openings to prevent pests from coming in your house. c. Temperature Pests cannot hold up strong hot or cold temperatures. Thus, to eliminate pests from foods, clothes, and carpets, expose them to intense temperature conditions. d.
